This is a warm, friendly Osteopractic practice. I have seen Marie for the last three years as she continues to breakdown scar tissue; and remobilize my muscles and tendons as the result of surgery and radiation. She is an excellent therapist.

Yesterday 12/28 was my first visit and what a visit it was. Everyone on the staff was great. From the front desk to to my therapist Dr. Paul Jacob's. He explained everything that was going to be done to my knee replacement. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone!

Traveled all the way from Hawaii... From the min I walked in the door I could tell this was a professional yet fun physical therapy. The receptionist Adriana had a beautiful smile and very welcoming way about her. My PT started out with a thorough evaluation by Dr Paul Jacobs. after a few sessions another therapist took over most of my sessions. Sinead was a blast to work with. just as professional as she was funny. We got along great, she got my humor and I got hers. It made the time go by to fast. She had her hands full with my therapy and to add to it she was training a new staff member at the same time. Dr. Petone never took a back seat. Even though he handles the Chiropractic aspect of the office, he always made a point to come over and say hello. He even helped with PT and a quick adjustment just because. That was awesome!!If I could give them 10 STARS I would. Thank you so much for the fun and the workout. You all made it fun and enjoyable. I find Dr. Jacobs very professional, up front, honest, and knowledgeable. I find the staff members that helped me: PTA Sinead McClinton and CLT Lana, friendly, extremely helpful, and also knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the services, kindness, and caring treatments I've received here. Since my treatments started for head and neck lymphedema, my outlook and attitude on life have changed dramatically. Their unique and personalized treatments have by far made this the most beneficial physical therapy I've had in the 6 months I've had this condition. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Marie knows her “stuff.” She’s been working on my muscles, scar tissue, and the other side effects caused by surgery and radiation. We (her skills and my exercises) are slowly making progress. She’s a fantastic therapist and kind too!

I attend "Back to You physical therapy" to help manage chronic pain from fibromyalgia. Last Tuesday I came in with a very sore head. I had a great deal of tension buildup in my trigger points at the back of my neck. I typically have dry needling which I find highly effective, however, Dr Vasicek approached my headache with manual therapy and light stretching. I experienced an unexpected emotional release from the work and I left feeling significantly lighter and a great deal better. Lot's came up for me emotionally and I realized that a past trauma had been stored in my neck from over 20 years ago. Wednesday I allowed myself time to process both the physical and emotional trauma that I experienced many years ago by being delicate with myself through silent meditation and self care. I was able to find deep relaxation, inner peace and resolve. I definitely feel things shifting towards the better with my whole physical wellness from my last visit. I've also seen a gradual increase in my stamina to tolerate higher levels of physical exercise and I am delighted to report that I'm finally able to jog alongside my two favorite boys, my dog baby Abu

I've only had 3 visits since 8-1-23 but this is the best physical therapy I have ever had! My therapist John Putnam is fantastic, polite, caring, and focused. The therapists here only work with one patient at a time which is what I like most along with the massages. The location is convenient. The whole staff is friendly and professional and I look forward to continuing my treatment here. The space is small but you'll receive unlimited care here. I would highly recommend Back to You Physical Therapy.

Dr Vasicek is treating me with trigger point therapy to relieve chronic pain from fibromyalgia. I receive dry needling regularly and I'm finding it to be highly effective! I'm typically highly reactive to the needling and find tolerating the intensity of needles very challenging however last week. I was able to tolerate them without my usual tears. After my session on Friday I had the most restful sleep throughout my weekend in addition to being able to increase my physical activity as well as finding the energy to be the most productive that I have been in weeks in my work! Can't thank Dr Vasicek and my wellness team at back to you enough for the continued progress that I am experiencing towards managing my symptoms!

In March I'd just returned to my sessions at "Back to you" after a six month hiatus only to need to take another needed break after learning news of the sudden loss of my heart horse. I was worried that I might be dropped as a patient after needing to cancel my appointment abruptly, in addition to taking more time off after just returning a few weeks prior. I emailed Dr Vasicek to inform him of my loss and my need to take additional time off to process my grief. Dr Vasicek was prompt in his response and deeply empathetic to my loss. Upon my return I was greeted with warm smiles and heartfelt sympathies from my team. "Back to you" provides a safe space with it's incredibly professional and compassionate team members to share openly about personal challenges such as the loss of my beloved heart horse. I cannot express how deeply moved I felt to be able to share photos of me and my treasured horse companion and my doggie Abu with my team! Dr. Vasicek also remarked on my improvement in my absence and was very supportive about my attending hippotherapy in addition to my therapy at "Back to you"! I couldn't ask for a more support medical team!

Dr. Shamoon is very personable and seems to be results driven. My scheduling error was quickly remedied with compassion. On the first day assessment, I felt some relief. Just left my 3rd session with Kyle and John and I can't express enough, how happy I have been with my treatment plan and the attention and care both these guys have shown me so far. Exercises have been great and today's dry needling has started me on a very welcomed path of muscle tension relief like I haven't felt in years. Can't wait for the progress I will see over the next several weeks. Highly recommend this facility. So happy I took the time to do my research. My drive is long but well worth it.

Everyone at Back To You is amazing and the whole staff is very accommodating. Dr. John is so patient and really listens to what your needs/concerns are and develops a plan to actually help you. Dr. John is very thorough and helps you get to the route of your issues - not just superficial bandaid fixes with chronic pain especially. Mark brightens my day and is always there to help with exercises, is very good at explaining them, and helping you modify your exercises to what works best for you. Robin is also great, cupping and body tempering have been really beneficial. My favorite thing by far is dry needling with Dr. John. He is very good at targeting problem areas and getting everything to relax. This is the best I have felt in 10 years and I am getting so much stronger. I never thought it was possible to get better after many rounds of failed PT at other practices. I just assumed I would live with my chronic pain. Dr. John has given me hope that I will be able to manage and minimize my pain over time and correct my ongoing issues. (Side note, not related to Dr. Putnam at all, just happen to have the same last name.)

Back to You has a friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. My therapist, Marie, has helped me immensely with my neck movements and scar tissue due to surgery and radiation. She is knowledgeable and kind. She treats me like a friend.

Brian has never ending different exercises for whatever you need. I’m amazed at all the different ways to move your body. My ENT doctor needed me to be on a strong antibiotic for 10 days with no exercising. Hopefully I won’t be losing any movements I’ve mastered.

The Dr, techs and therapists are very good at what they do , very informative and hands on. Looking into the insurance part of it needs work, make sure that they understand what your insurance covers, prior authorization, length of time and get back to you early enough so you can continue with the program.

My overall experience at "Back to You" has been outstanding! Dr Putnam and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I've been attending for a couple of months now and I've seen tremendous progress thus far. During my last visit Dr Putnam was kind enough to assist me further with my exercises to gain the maximum benefit. He also informed me of supplements to add to my diet to reduce inflammation and gave me tips for getting adequate sleep. When I came in for my appointment I was struggling with my ankle and Dr Putnam showed immediate concern and dealt with the issue during my session. After the dry needling I was actually able to walk my dog that evening! The day of my visit I could barely put any weight on my ankle. It's been a few days since my visit but I have felt so much better and I have been able to work all day in the garden without any pain!

I sought out Marie M when I needed physical/CS therapy when I injured my reconstructed shoulder. I have improved strength and mobiity in that joint, plus balance has improved. AND less pain. Highly recommended.

I see Brian at back to you he is amazing and has helped me so very much I have dystonia and I require a continued maintenance program to be functional I highly recommend him and have had great progress with a somewhat normal life due to his knowledge and technique he has used on me for over 2 years

I saw Dr Brian Vasicek on Friday for my progress evaluation and we spoke at length regarding my acupuncture treatment that I had earlier in the week. Dr Vasicek was just as enthusiastic as I was in having such rapid results and progress from the one treatment of acupuncture. I was feeling quite self conscious and a little embarrassed from my intense reaction to the acupuncture earlier in the week and dr Brian was so kind in reassuring me that I had nothing to be self conscious about and that “Back to You ” if a safe space that allows their patients to process their physical pain and emotional releases from the treatments without any judgment. Due to the tremendous benefit from my acupuncture earlier that week he proceeded with another round of needles and surprisingly enough I didn’t have the strong reaction as the first session. He took the time to assess my shoes and kindly wrote down a list of options for over pronation. I was also able to report how the acupuncture was so beneficial not only to my PT and OT symptoms but, I have found great relief from digestive issues, TMJ, and my overall range of motion has increased significantly! My overall experience with Back to You has been absolutely brilliant! I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the level of care and concern regarding my treatment and well being. It is my experience that every practitioner and employee that I’ve interacted with at Back to You are extremely dedicated and take deep pride in their role in helping their patients have a positive experience and on their road back to wellness!

I went there for 5 months last year N again for a few weeks recently. Let v them all. Dr Amam, Adam, an Dr Putman. I hav told many from ends about Back to You.

I have a very seriously deteriorated left shoulder with my supraspinatus tendon completely torn and shredded. My surgeon suggested having complete reverse shoulder reconstruction. Dr Putnam reviewed my MRI and determined that I would only lose range of motion with surgery. He has prescribed a plan that has been steadily decreasing my pain and increasing the strength in my shoulder. His arsenal of “tools” are amazing, as is his application to address the changing responses my body has to these techniques. I am fully confident in his approach to my healing and the instructions given to his staff that also work with me in the Royal Oak office.

I am so impressed with the time Dr Putman took for my evaluation. Professional, encouraging and down to earth! I’m confident in my choice of coming to Back to You to see results!

I have been totally wowed. This is something that doesn't happen with me very often. For it to occur everything must rise above my expectations. Dr John did that and then some! I've been walking around with my head down and my shoulders hunched for a few years. Dry needling was suggested for me. I had an idea of what was involved and so I said "let's go". Well after this session I was able to pull my shoulders back and stand upright. The world sure looks different from this view point. This is just the beginning as we have a lot more to address. I'm now working with Dr Imam and all is going as well with him as Dr John. Everyone in the office is helpful and friendly and show a real compassion for their patients. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for me after what has happened so far working with this group. If all goes as I expect it to go, I'm going to become one very happy person because of their help for me. Don't put off getting back to normal, with Back To You, you will get back to being you again.

I was shocked to a place this nice took my insurance. Absolutely highly recommended!!!!! I cannot stress how much this place impressed me. Very clean very professional very knowledgeable and the staff actually makes you feel like they truly care and want to make you feel better. You are not just a number or a name on a paper. The list of qualifications for treatment is remarkable to me I've never found a place this qualified that actually took Medicaid. They've all been cash only shops. I've never been this excited to go to physical therapy. I was feeling fairly hopeless about the range of motion, the functional ability, and to some degree, a significant pain level in both of my shoulders when I began physical therapy sessions with Marie. Since that time, she has utilized her clinical expertise and years of specialized experience to formulate both a tailored, at home and in- clinic, plan that has greatly improved my shoulders while steadily, each visit, helping me to move toward my ultimate goal of gaining back enough range of motion and degree of function to perform routine activities of daily living and (hopefully) avoid surgery. Marie is not only an extremely talented expert clinician, she listens to her patients, offers sound, practial advice / solutions and provides this care with empathy and a sense of humor! Back to PT staff is very caring and helpful. They will do whatever they can to help patients. The whole staff is knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend to anyone who looks for good and effective therapy!

Dr Imam and Dr Putnam are very thorough in explaining their practices in physical therapy. All of the physical therapists are very knowledgeable with the equipment and techniques according to everyone’s special needs. There is very clear communication among all staff and patients. I had severe sciatic nerve pain with shooting pain from my buttocks to my knee. I felt pretty good after my first visit. Looking forward to my next session in a week. Highly recommend this treatment.

I’ve been to a number of facilities in the past. This place rates at the top. They include therapy other than just exercises. Everyone is pleasant and skilled.

Everyone is very nice. They kidd around make jokes and really get to know there patient. They really take pride in there work. They have gone out there way to work with you for more then ur time if you are in pain or discomfort.

Laurie and Christina have been very helpful and attentive. We've tried multiple rehab methods and procedures. I'm definitely able to do more, and for longer periods of time over the course of the personalized rehabilitation. Thanks so much to my rehab professionals!!!

Very knowledgeable cranial sacral therapist who is keenly observant, proactive and compassionate. No wait times and easy scheduling. This has been the most positive physical therapy experience I’ve ever had.

Everyone is so nice. I am consistently pleased with the education and consideration I receive from Dr. Shamoon and everyone I have encountered at Back to You PT. I am viewed as an equal partner in this endeavor to get better. I appreciate the treatment modalities utilized and have found benefit with dry needling and cupping, as well as stretches.
