Dr. Nicole Plumley

Pelvic Health Specialist

Nicole and her family are originally from West Virginia but relocated to Southern Illinois where she spent the majority of her childhood and adolescence. Dr. Plumley graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri with her Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2021 before continuing on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2023. After graduating, she moved to South Florida to be closer to family

Dr. Plumley brings a wealth of experience from her diverse clinical background, including outpatient pediatrics, orthopedic rehabilitation, and acute care in hospital settings. She has worked extensively with patients of all ages, treating conditions such as chronic pain, vestibular disorders, developmental delays, pediatric orthopedic conditions, and pelvic health conditions and dysfunctions.

Dr. Plumley’s passion for pelvic floor physical therapy began during college when she had the opportunity to shadow a skilled pelvic health therapist in the St. Louis area.  Through this experience, she learned how patient education could break down barriers surrounding topics often considered taboo or mistakenly accepted as “normal” by society. Witnessing the transformation in patients’ lives through knowledge and empowerment solidified her commitment to this specialty, inspiring her to help individuals regain confidence and improve their quality of life through compassionate and individualized evidence-based care.

Dr. Plumley has completed advanced training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, including Pelvic Floor Level 1 (Introduction to Pelvic Health) and Level 2A (Colorectal Pelvic Health, Pudendal Neuralgia, and Coccyx Pain). Through the Institute, she has also pursued specialized coursework in pregnancy rehabilitation and visceral fascia mobilization to enhance her ability to support patients with complex musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions.

Outside of work, Nicole is an avid traveler; traveling throughout the US and Europe. She has completed the Camino de Santiago twice, the Portuguese route and the French route. She also enjoys playing pickleball and tennis with her friends or having a family game night on the weekends. Since moving to Florida, she is still exploring and learning all that Florida has to offer.
