Dr. Erik Rebbe earned his Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Michigan in 2012 before attaining his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from the University of Miami in 2016, where he graduated with honors. After graduation, he continued to expand his knowledge and skill set for the optimal treatment of his patients by obtaining certifications in LSVT, Dry Needling, Spinal Manipulation, Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), as well as Blood Flow Restriction (BFR). He applied these skills as the director of a successful Miami based orthopedic outpatient physical therapy clinic, prior to moving to Michigan and becoming the Clinic Director and Back To You in Royal Oak.
Dr. Rebbe has extensive experience treating pathologies ranging from neck and back pain, common sports injuries including ACL reconstruction, ankle injuries, and RTC pathologies to neurological disorders including Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. He treats patients of any age and background, helping clients with a variety of issues and severity levels to improve the quality of their lives.
Dr. Rebbe creates a custom, individualized plan for each patient designed to achieve maximum progress and results that utilizes evidence based therapeutic and corrective exercise coupled with advanced manual techniques and neuromuscular re-education. He ensures his patients are well educated on their diagnoses, have an outlined plan of care with clear cut goals and milestones, and that they feel confident in their daily activities.
Dr. Rebbe loves to enjoy anything outdoors in his free time. He is a certified scuba diver, loves fishing, boating, hiking, camping, working out and playing ice hockey. Dr. Rebbe is married with two kids and enjoys spending free time with friends and family.
