Laurie Putnam, MS, OTR/L

Laurie Putnam, MS, OTR/L, is a registered and licensed occupational therapist at Back To You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation in Canton, Royal Oak, and Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. She is certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), FMT Blades, and functional capacity evaluation training.

Laurie received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan and her master’s in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She decided to pursue the profession after watching an Occupational Therapist rehabilitate her grandmother back to an independent lyfestyle after injury. Laurie was fascinated by the idea of helping others regain their physical function, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based manual therapy techniques and therapeutic activities.

 At Back To You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, Laurie provides comprehensive care for individuals with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses that impact their day-to-day functions. Her hands-on approach enables Laurie to help patients maintain, improve, or restore their independence.

Outside of work, Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and raising her pup. She loves skiing on the water and in the mountains, tennis, volleyball, videography, and travel.
