“I believe effective physical therapy blends individualized care, functional movement, and a strong patient–provider connection.”
Camille Jonna, PT, DPT, FAFS is a licensed physical therapist and Clinical Director of the Saint Clair Shores office, known for her compassionate, movement-based, and highly individualized approach to care. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor before relocating to New York, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marist University.
Driven by a belief that rehabilitation should be as functional and relevant as possible for every individual, Camille completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. This advanced training sharpened her movement analysis skills and reinforced her whole-body approach to treating pain, injury, and performance limitations. She particularly enjoys working with recreational athletes and pediatric patients with a clinical focus on shoulder and knee injuries.
Camille prides herself on patient education and believes that understanding why and how the body moves is key to long-term success. Her sessions are highly movement-focused, and she is known for her ability to quickly build strong rapport with patients, creating a warm, supportive environment where individuals feel challenged, confident, and cared for. She creates fully customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and functional needs.
In addition to her clinical experience and fellowship training, Camille has completed advanced coursework in orthopedic biomechanics and sports-related injuries, including the biomechanics of the baseball pitch, knee injuries, and running mechanics. She has also pursued specialized education in pediatric gross motor delays and torticollis, McKenzie Institute principles, and holds a dry needling certification. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hot vinyasa yoga, boxing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
