Dr. Long graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelors in Health Science, Minor in Exercise Science, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She has taken numerous continuing education courses which include training in dry needling, pelvic floor physical therapy, and treatment of TMD.
Since graduating Dr. Long has worked in outpatient neurorecovery treating spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, MS, TBI, stroke, foot drop, and other neurological conditions.
Dr. Long also has experience in outpatient orthopedics treating post-operative recovery, sports injury, balance and fall training, biomechanics education, low back pain and various other orthopedic conditions.
The most rewarding part of her job is keeping her patients moving and seeing them reach their personal goals. She focues on individualized treatment plans to help YOU meet your needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing anything outdoorsy, and staying physically active.
