Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. William (Bo) Wright, PT, DPT, COMT, CDNS, joins Back to You Rehab in the Grosse Pointe Woods location after a successful career in physical therapy, medical imaging sales, and clinician development roles in the Indianapolis, IN region. Michigan holds a special place in his heart, as he spent summers and winters in Grayling, MI, where his parents built a home on a tributary of the AuSable River.
Dr. Wright graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN with a Biology degree in 2011, as well as minors in Psychology and Animal Behaviorisms. He later earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2016. Dr. Wright completed his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and Certified Dry Needling Specialist (CDNS) in Carmel, IN in 2018, and has an expansive background in manual therapy, differential diagnosis, extremity and spinal manipulation, dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Dr. Wright has guest-lectured for the University of Indianapolis Physical Therapy program on the topic of spinal manipulation. He also has performed educational training on Work Safety & Injury Prevention, and helped develop pre-employment screens for employers with heavy occupational demands in the Indianapolis market.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wright thoroughly enjoys being outdoors, including hiking, kayaking, boating, camping, and skiing. He enjoys traveling as much as possible, including on a yearly ski trip with his friends from Indiana University. Dr. Wright also enjoys weight-training, learning new recipes, and attending a wide variety of sporting events.
